James Manager has been Senator in Delta South Senatorial District for 5 terms and continued to loot resources that are meant for the Indigenous People of Niger Delta. Is he the only one qualified from Delta South to be Senator?
This is Senator James Manager, PDP-Delta South, who is serving his 5th term in the Senate. Couple of weeks ago, President Buhari ordered a forensic audit of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) books from 2001 to date and at a press conference yesterday, the Executive Director of Projects, Cairo Ojougboh, declared that Manager alone handles 300 contracts and while none has been executed, 120 have been fully paid for. And while the NDDC is yet to complete its headquarters, it owes some phantom contractors N3tr.
To make matter worse, Uduaghan who had looted Delta State dry and left the State in worse state than he met it. Uduanghan desperation to go to Senate attest to the fact that his reservoir of loots is running fast dry and has to replenish it.
The big question to ask ourselves is if it is only James Manager and Uduaghan that are in Delta South. If the youth of the region seek a better life they most have to start working not towards total generational change in leadership of Delta State and the whole of Niger Delta Region. If not, we shall sleep one day, only to wake up to discover that these crooks have looted the Niger Delta out of the maps of the world. The major architect of our backwardness in the Niger Delta are these looters among us.
