
As Hon. Uko Nkole Donates Motorcycles to Youths and Fertilizers to Women Group..
Still in his usual magnanimity and to ease the mobility of some youths and boost the agricultural produce of the farmers in his constituency, the ever benevolent honourable member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Hon. Uko Nkole yesterday Thursday 28th June, 2018 at his constituency office, Ebem Ohafia donated four sets of motorcycles to some youths and fertilizers to the Intimacy group, Ebem Ohafia respectively.
While Saviour Edet, Okagwe Ohafia,
Nwafor Ota, Amaekpu Ohafia,
Kalu Awo, Amaeke Abam and
Ikpe Amah from Idima Abam receives motorcycles each , the Intimacy Group, Ebem Ohafia led by Elder Mrs. B. K. Amogu took their own turn to benefit from the fertilizer spree from the federal lawmaker for all the farmers in his constituency.
Presenting the keys to the motorcycles and fertilizers to the beneficiaries on behalf of Hon. Nkole, the Director General, Friends of Uko Nkole, a pro-group and structure of the erudite lawmaker, Dr. Don Emeka Emeri said the kind gestures exhibited by his principal is another way of empowering the youths, encouraging, alleviating and helping the local farmers in their farming business.
He therefore, urged them to prudently utilize the opportunity and offers given to them.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. Nwafor Ota said they are overwhelmed by the philanthropic gestures of Hon. Uko Nkole and applauded him for remembering them.
They further reaffirmed their supports and promised to strive to their best to ensure the reelection of Hon. Nkole in 2019.
Recall that this is not the first set of motorcycles and fertilizers to be donated by the federal lawmaker.
Women groups from Asaga, Amaekpu, Elu, Ibina, Akanu, Ndi Okorie Abam, Ozu Abam, the Unique Sisters, Ohafia has benefitted from the fertilizer distribution while other groups from other remaining villages has been urged to exercise patience as they will receive their own ferltizers as the motorcycles has gone round in all the eight (8) clans in the federal constituency namely ;
Arochukwu, Abam, Abiriba, Ihechiowa, Isu, Nkporo, Ohafia and Ututu.
Hon. Nkole has equally extended such kind gestures to National Union of Road Transport, Ohafia, Abam Council of Traditional Rulers, Clergymen, Ohafia Party leaders, and individuals by donating vehicles to them.
Members of Friends of Uko Nkole, Hon. Kalu Ofem, Mrs. Grace Chijioke Okorie, Hon. Michael Kalu, Mr. Kalu Nwaoriaku, Mrs. Patience and others witnessed the events.
According to Hon. Nkole, this is not his empowerment programme; stay tuned while he will soon unleash and unveil his empowerment scheme for his constituency.
