BREAKING: Former Lawmaker Is Dead (PHOTO)

Hon. Tirimisiyu Olasupo Okunola, a former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, has died.

On Sunday morning, his younger brother, Alhaji Bashir Okunola, announced the former lawmaker’s death on his Facebook page.

Although the cause of his death could not be determined at the time of publication, a source stated that the politician had been battling diabetes prior to his death.

From 2007 to 2011, Hon. Okunola represented the Ido State constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

He was elected to the Assembly on the All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP) platform but later defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
