Dressed in a black flowing gown with a red headgear, Shetty arrived at the National Assembly, thinking she was going for her screening. She was accompanied by some associates and drove into the National Assembly Complex in a black SUV.

However, her appointment was withdrawn, and she left the parliament seemingly disappointed.

In a statement on Saturday, Shetty expressed her gratitude to President Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima.
