Omoniyi’s lifeless body was found by the police in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. She had gone out to celebrate her recent induction into the nursing profession at a nightclub on Tuesday night before her tragic demise.

According to sources, Omoniyi had bid farewell to her mother, who had traveled from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to join in her celebration. After celebrating at home with her mother, she headed to the club.

In response to her death, the club she reportedly visited, Copacapana, denied that the incident occurred within their premises. They stated that they would not take responsibility for an incident that transpired outside their vicinity. The club management issued a press statement expressing their condolences and emphasizing their commitment to patron safety.
