Tinubu Won’t Like This – Atiku Makes Fresh Disturbing Revelation On Tinubu’s Education
Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections, has once again criticized the educational background of President Bola Tinubu.
Atiku, who is questioning the legitimacy of Tinubu’s degree certificate issued by Chicago State University in the United States, remarked that the President’s educational history continues to be a subject of confusion.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Atiku accused the President of bypassing primary and secondary education to directly enroll in Chicago State University.

According to the former Vice President, in 1999, Tinubu stated that he attended St. John’s Primary School, Aroloya, Lagos, before progressing to Children’s Home School in Ibadan. He alleged that in 2023, President Tinubu’s educational background differed from what he had presented in 1999. Atiku claimed that Tinubu had previously mentioned attending Government College Ibadan, Richard Daley College, and Chicago State University, but in 2023, he stated that he only attended Chicago State University, omitting primary and secondary education.
Atiku expressed bewilderment at this discrepancy and suggested that Nigerians should be equally perplexed by Tinubu’s assertion that he lacked primary and secondary education, yet holds a university degree. He humorously proposed asking Tinubu for an explanation to learn from his apparent innovation.
Atiku has persistently contested the outcome of the 2023 presidential election, in which Tinubu was declared the winner. He has raised concerns about the President’s academic records and even approached a US court to compel Chicago State University to release Tinubu’s academic documents.
In response, the university has expressed confusion over how Tinubu’s academic records could be relevant to a foreign election challenge. However, they stated that if a court order is obtained in the US, they will disclose the academic records.
