PHOTOS From Pastor Taiwo Odukoya Funeral Emerge

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has been laid to rest.

The Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC) passed away approximately a month ago in the United States.

The revered preacher, whose church is headquartered in the Ilupeju area of Lagos, was interred in a private ceremony attended by close family members and associates on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, a funeral service was conducted at the church’s headquarters.

During the service, Bishop David Abioye praised Pastor Taiwo’s enduring influence and offered condolences to the congregation on his passing. He urged attendees to recognize the significance of their impact on others and emphasized the importance of leaving a lasting legacy.

“We must be mindful of how we live our lives because everyone will face death,” he stated. “The crucial question for all of us is, how are you living?”

Notable figures in attendance at the funeral service included Dolapo Osinbajo, the wife of former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Bishop Mike Okonkwo of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM); Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, the Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC); Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock; and a delegation from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), among others.

Born in Kaduna, North-West Nigeria, Pastor Taiwo is survived by five children, including Nollywood star Jimmy Odukoya.
