BREAKING: Popular Nigerian Actor, Charles, Is Dead
Renowned Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Charles Granville, has passed away after a prolonged illness.
The family released a statement confirming the demise of the ‘Tinsel’ actor.
According to the statement signed by a family member, Iyenemri Somiari Granville, Charles passed away “after a prolonged illness on Thursday the 21st of September, 2023.” The statement also noted that “funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.”
Charles Granville was a versatile artist, excelling in various creative domains including acting, songwriting, music, and filmmaking. Until his passing, he played a leading role in the Advisory Committee on Arts and Entertainment.
His notable filmography encompasses works like ‘Last Flight To Abuja’, ‘Impossible Relationships’, ‘Dowry Man’, and an upcoming release titled ‘Locked’.
