Delivering the warning during an inspection of the 6.5km Woji-Aleto-Alesa-Refinery link Road project, Governor Fubara emphasized the detrimental impact of negative publicity on investor confidence and economic growth.

Asserting his commitment to promoting the state’s positive image, Fubara stressed, “Whatever negativity is being peddled is not aimed at me but at undermining the progress and prosperity of Rivers State. We must showcase the bright side of our state to attract investors.”

Addressing the ongoing infrastructure project, Governor Fubara commended the progress made by the contractor, Raffoul Nigeria Limited, expressing optimism about its timely completion within the next three months.

“The contractor has demonstrated commendable dedication, particularly in completing the crucial bridge section of the project. With their commitment, we anticipate the road’s swift completion, boosting connectivity and socioeconomic development in the region,” Fubara remarked.

Reiterating his administration’s focus on service delivery and progress, Fubara urged officials to prioritize their duties and refrain from engaging in divisive politics or vendettas.
