EFCC Busts Cybercrime Gang: 40 Suspects Apprehended In Abuja, Keffi Raid

According to EFCC Spokesman Dele Oyewale, the arrests were made in coordinated operations conducted on Saturday, February in Mpape, Abuja, and Keffi, Nasarawa State, following actionable intelligence on the suspects’ alleged involvement in internet-related crimes.
The apprehended individuals, comprising 38 males and two females, were found in possession of various incriminating items, including two cars, 56 phones, four smartwatches, eight power banks, and four laptops.
As investigations unfold, the suspects are set to face the full force of the law, with Oyewale confirming that they will be promptly charged to court upon the conclusion of the inquiry.
The swift action by the EFCC underscores the agency’s commitment to combatting cybercrime and ensuring accountability in digital spaces, sending a strong message to would-be offenders.
