In a personal statement issued, Senator Usman highlighted the escalating tensions and incidents of terrorist attacks, killings, and abductions in various communities across Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone in recent weeks.
He urged the government to take decisive action to address the situation and bring it under control.
Expressing sorrow over the recent spate of attacks and abductions, Senator Usman emphasized the demoralizing effect on citizens and called for urgent relief measures.
He specifically lamented the abduction of pupils and students in Kuriga, Chikun local government area, along the Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna highway, extending heartfelt sympathy to the affected families.
Senator Usman acknowledged the efforts of security forces in rescuing the abducted children and urged all levels of government and security agencies to adopt proactive measures in tackling the menace of terrorism. He emphasized the importance of taking the fight against terrorists directly to their hideouts.
