During a meeting with the Forum of State Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House in Abuja on Friday, March 15, Tinubu emphasized that Nigeria will overcome the “agents of destabilization” purportedly undermining efforts to reposition the economy.

According to a statement released by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu affirmed that his administration is channeling resources towards critical sectors with substantial impacts on Nigerians’ welfare.

Tinubu underscored the importance of obtaining the National Identification Number (NIN) for effective planning, structuring interventions, and ensuring full integration into various relief programs. He urged grassroots leaders to mobilize citizens for NIN registration, emphasizing its significance in enabling accurate data for social security initiatives.

In Tinubu’s words, “The treasury belongs to the people, and that sacred trust must not be abused. As we combat corruption, smugglers, and old subsidy beneficiaries, they will surely resist. But we will stand by our people.”

He expressed confidence in Nigeria’s ability to overcome challenges and transform scarcity into abundance, positioning the country on a trajectory towards prosperity for all.
