Nigerian Army Neutralizes Four Terrorists In Kaduna, Katsina, Foils Kidnapping Attempt In Plateau

The Nigerian Army has reported significant victories in its ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and insecurity across various states in the country. According to a statement by Nigerian Army spokesperson, Onyema Nwachukwu, the operations were conducted based on credible intelligence indicating terrorist activities in specific areas.

In Kaduna State, troops ambushed terrorists using the Gwamtu-Duduwa-Kujeni routes for logistical movements in Kajuru Local Government Area. During the operation, two insurgents were killed, and various items, including weapons, ammunition, and fetish amulets, were recovered, disrupting terrorist activities in the region.

Similarly, in Katsina State’s Batsari Local Government Area, troops raided a terrorist hideout at Dutsen Kura, resulting in the elimination of two more terrorists. The raid yielded significant recoveries, including weapons, communication devices, and military uniforms, further degrading terrorist operations.

In Plateau State, the Nigerian Army successfully foiled a kidnapping attempt on the Headmaster of Pilot Primary School, Mr. Solomon Zakka, in Maiduna Village, Bokkos Local Government Area. Troops engaged the kidnappers in a shootout, rescuing the headmaster and preventing the abduction.

These successes underscore the Nigerian Army’s commitment to maintaining security and safeguarding communities from terrorist threats across the nation.
