Suspected Ritualist Arrested In Ondo State

SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, disclosed this in a statement released on Sunday in Akure.
According to the spokesperson, the police received intelligence from a credible source indicating that Alfa was harboring human body parts in his residence with the intent to use them for ritualistic purposes.
Promptly responding to the tip-off, law enforcement agents conducted a search at Alfa’s house in Akoko, leading to the discovery of several human body parts in his possession. Among the items recovered were human hands, three kidneys, three hearts, a spine, and a tongue.
Odunlami-Omisanya revealed that the suspect claimed to be an Islamic cleric and alleged that some of the human body parts were supplied to him by his friend, identified as an Alhaji and also a cleric, named Samuel Kutelu. Furthermore, the suspect admitted to supplying human heads to another individual named Babatunde Kayode, who is known as an Oluawo.
Subsequently, Oluawo and Babatunde Kayode were arrested in connection with the case. Efforts are currently underway to apprehend the other cleric who allegedly sourced the human body parts for Alfa.
The Ondo State Police Command has assured the public of its commitment to ensuring that all individuals involved in such heinous activities are brought to justice, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in combating crimes of this nature.
