Represented by the Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya, Governor Abiodun described the event as a significant stride in the state government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the living standards of Ogun State workers. He applauded the dedication and commitment of the workers, acknowledging their substantial contribution to the success of his administration.

Abiodun emphasized, “Ogun State civil servants’ dedication and hard work form the bedrock of the progress and prosperity of our dear state.” He announced the government’s approval for the sale of high-quality rice at discounted prices exclusively for the workforce, urging employees from all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to seize the opportunity and embrace the government’s gesture.

The Head of Service, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Establishments and Training, Lydia Fajounbo, expressed gratitude to the government for this initiative. She highlighted its significance in cushioning the impact of fuel subsidy removal on the state workforce. Fajounbo urged workers to appreciate the government’s generosity by fulfilling their obligations diligently and cooperating to enhance the state’s progress.
