Ondo PDP Set To Hold Governorship Primary Election

Today, the Ondo Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to conduct its governorship primary ahead of the upcoming November 16 governorship election in the state. The aspirants vying for the party’s ticket include a former deputy governor in the state, Agboola Ajayi, Chief Olusola Ebiseni, Kolade Akinjo, John Mafo, Adeolu Akinwumi, Bamidele Akingboye, and Bosun Arebuwa.

According to Mr. Kennedy Peretei, the Ondo PDP Publicity Secretary, the primary will be overseen by a seven-man committee led by Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Mr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo. The primary election venue is slated to be at the International Culture and Events Centre (The Dome), Akure.

Peretei emphasized that only accredited delegates will be allowed into the venue, with accreditation set to commence at 10 am. Additionally, he advised individuals who are not delegates or have no business at the venue to maintain a reasonable distance from the arena to ensure a smooth and orderly process.
