In a statement released on Thursday via its official platform, the EFCC disclosed that the arrests were made following actionable intelligence gathered on the suspects’ alleged fraudulent activities.

During the operation, law enforcement officials seized various electronic devices, including different brands of mobile phones and laptops, as well as two vehicles and several incriminating documents believed to be connected to the illicit activities of the suspects.

The EFCC reiterated its commitment to diligently pursue investigations into the matter, with the aim of ensuring that those responsible for perpetrating cybercrime face the full weight of the law. Upon the conclusion of investigations, the suspects will be prosecuted in accordance with legal procedures.
