37 Years Old Man Arraigned By Police For Allegedly Tampering With Corpse

Ikudaisi, whose address remains undisclosed, faced charges of tampering with a corpse but pleaded not guilty before the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court.

According to the prosecutor, Insp Toyin Ibrahim, the defendant committed the offence on May 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Muslim Cemetery, Ibadan.

Ibrahim alleged that Ikudaisi removed some bones from the corpse, violating Section 242(1)(b) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.

Magistrate Mrs Kausarat Ayofe granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum. The case is adjourned until July 16 for further hearing. (NAN)
