Galatasaray President Addresses Victor Osimhen’s Future Amid Transfer Speculation
Galatasaray president, Dursun Özbek, has assured fans that star striker Victor Osimhen will not be forced to leave the club during the upcoming January transfer window…READ MORE…
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Serie A’s Napoli in September, has been a key addition to their attack. However, his loan agreement includes a clause allowing him to seek a transfer in January, fueling rumors about his future.
Despite the interest from top European clubs, including Manchester United, Özbek expressed confidence that the 25-year-old Nigerian forward will remain with Galatasaray for the season. Speaking to A Spor, he affirmed, “He is our player this season. While there is a clause that allows him to leave mid-season, we are committed to him until the end of the season.”
Özbek also stressed that the decision about Osimhen’s future is ultimately in the player’s hands, stating, “No one should pressure him. He will decide at the end of the season. If he wants to stay, he is welcome to continue with us.”
