of the Niger State Pension Board, during the disbursement of gratuities to Batch Nine beneficiaries in Minna.
Namaska revealed that pension fund administrators will issue a “letter of no objection” this week, allowing the refund process to begin immediately. He further assured that the refunds would be completed before the end of December, while commending Governor Umar Mohammed Bago for ensuring timely funding of retirement benefits.
The Director General also highlighted a shortfall in the number of Batch Nine beneficiaries due to the omission of retired permanent secretaries, who will be included in the tenth batch. He urged retirees to remain patient, assuring that all individuals would receive their retirement benefits on time.
Namaska also encouraged pensioners to participate in the upcoming AM ALIVE verification exercise, set to begin in January 2025. He advised retirees to visit any bank of their choice to complete the verification process.
