After A Dazzling Ghana Trip, Tinubu Touches Down In Abuja

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived back in Abuja after attending the inauguration of Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama in Accra. Tinubu had traveled to Ghana on Tuesday at the invitation of Mahama, who had visited Nigeria earlier in December.

According to Bayo Onanuga, the Presidential spokesperson, Tinubu’s attendance at the ceremony as a special guest of honor was a direct result of Mahama’s personal invitation. The news of the president’s return to Abuja was shared by his Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, through a video posted on Wednesday, January 8.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja from Accra after attending President Mahama’s swearing-in and inauguration ceremony,” the post read.
