Minister Abubakar Momoh Attends 5th Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum In Maiduguri(Video)
Maiduguri, Borno State – The 5th Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum took place on January 29th at the University of Maiduguri, with key stakeholders convening to discuss regional peace and development. The event brought together governors, ministers, civil society organizations, UN agencies, and international development partners, all focused on strategies for sustainable progress in the region.
Representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima addressed the forum, emphasizing that geopolitical tensions must not divide the region. He urged leaders to prioritize their shared interests over differences.
Engr. Abubakar Momoh joined dignitaries in a group photograph with the Vice President and later spoke to the press, advocating for unity, peace, and sustainable development. He reaffirmed the Ministry of Regional Development’s commitment to driving President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.
