As of Thursday, March 13, 2025, Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in Lagos quoted the following rates:
- Buying Rate: ₦1,580 per dollar
- Selling Rate: ₦1,590 per dollar
Meanwhile, the official exchange rate set by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) remains lower:
- Highest Rate: ₦1,550 per dollar
- Lowest Rate: ₦1,532 per dollar
It is important to note that the CBN does not recognize the parallel market and has advised individuals to conduct foreign exchange transactions through official banking channels. Additionally, forex rates may vary depending on the dealer and location.
