Thousands Dump PDP For APC In Delta As Governor Okpebholo, Ganduje, And Ned Nwoko Lead Landmark Defection

In a momentous political shift that sent ripples across the South South, thousands of members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State have officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The event, held today, was spearheaded by the Executive Governor of Edo State, H.E. Monday Okpebholo, the APC National Chairman, H.E. Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and Senator Ned Nwoko.

Among the notable defectors were Chiedu Ebie and influential members of the Delta Unity Group, who cited their commitment to unity, progress, and national renewal as key reasons for aligning with the APC. Governor Okpebholo described the development as a turning point for the South South region, asserting that the region has become central to Nigeria’s evolving political trajectory.
