Senator Sandy Onor Obtains PDP Presidential Nomination Forms

Senator Prof. Sandy Onor has officially obtained the presidential nomination form of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Ireporter Online, the development was disclosed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Lere Olayinka, the Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

The report indicates that Onor, who was the PDP governorship candidate in Cross River State during the 2023 elections, purchased the party’s presidential nomination forms from a faction aligned with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

He reportedly carried out the exercise at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja, becoming one of the earliest aspirants to secure the party’s presidential nomination form for the upcoming election cycle.

Senator Onor, a known political ally of Wike, previously served as the Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District from 2019 to 2023.
