VIDEO: ‘How Shatta Wale Helped Secure Burna Boy’s Release From Ghana Prison After Weed Arrest

According to Ireporter Online, Captan made the revelation during a recent podcast interview, where he reflected on Burna Boy’s past ties with Shatta Wale and members of his music camp.

Captan claimed that Shatta Wale personally instructed him and others to intervene and secure Burna Boy’s release from police custody at the time of the alleged arrest.

“I once bailed Burna Boy out of prison in Ghana when he was arrested for smoking weed. Shatta Wale sent me and some guys to go and free him from police custody,” he stated during the interview, without specifying when or where the incident reportedly occurred.

He further alleged that Burna Boy once found refuge with Shatta Wale and his associates during a period he claimed the Nigerian singer was being pursued by unidentified individuals, adding that they provided him shelter and support until the situation was resolved.

“There was a time we also accommodated him when some people were after his life. We helped him settle the case,” he added.

Captan also noted that his relationship with Burna Boy became strained following a reported fallout between the Nigerian star and Shatta Wale, suggesting that the disagreement affected his ties with members of the Shatta Movement camp.

Although he did not disclose the cause of the alleged rift, he indicated that Burna Boy’s strained relationship with Shatta Wale extended to others within the camp.

Despite the reported tensions, Captan expressed optimism that reconciliation remains possible, stating that both he and Shatta Wale would be open to mending ties if Burna Boy initiates peace.

He maintained that there is no permanent hostility between the parties involved.
