BREAKING: APC Unveils Tinubu’s 2027 Running Mate

According to Ireporter Online, the National leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday formally confirmed Vice President Kashim Shettima as the running mate to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election.

The announcement was made during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting of the party held in Abuja, with members of the National Working Committee (NWC) in attendance under the leadership of the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.

Also present at the meeting were members of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), led by its Chairman and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, alongside other senior party officials.

President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Political Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari, formally presented the nomination forms of President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima, announcing them as the APC’s presidential and vice-presidential candidates, respectively, for the 2027 general election.

During the presentation ceremony, Masari handed over the nomination forms to the APC leadership, with the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, officially receiving the documents on behalf of the party, confirming the Tinubu-Shettima ticket for the forthcoming presidential election.
