It Wasn’t Worth It” — Actress Sikiratu Sindodo Regrets Making MC Oluomo Romance Public

Yoruba Nollywood actress Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo, has expressed regret over her decision to publicly announce her romantic relationship with National Union of Road Transport Workers boss, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.

According to Ireporter Online, the actress made the disclosure during an interview with Oyinmomo TV on YouTube, where she reflected on the decision to make her relationship public.

When asked about the circumstances surrounding their breakup, Sindodo declined to provide details, describing it as a lengthy matter she would rather keep private.

“It’s a long story, and I’d rather not go into it,” she said.

The actress, however, admitted that she now believes keeping the relationship away from the public would have been a better decision.

Sindodo explained that she had no reason to hide the relationship at the time because she believed MC Oluomo treated her well and was a kind-hearted person.

She noted that she initially felt people would eventually become aware of the relationship anyway, particularly if they were publicly known to be together.

“Normal, if you’re married to someone, people will eventually know. Back then, I didn’t care and I didn’t see any reason to hide it,” she said.

However, the actress said her perspective has changed, adding that she now admires colleagues who have managed to keep their personal relationships away from public scrutiny.

“Sometimes, it’s better to keep things private. I envy my colleagues who kept their affairs out of the public eye,” she said.

Sindodo specifically expressed regret over mentioning MC Oluomo publicly, stressing that she now feels the decision was unnecessary despite the positive treatment she said she received from him.

“I regret announcing my relationship with Alhaji MC Oluomo. It wasn’t worth it. He was very good to me and treated me well, which is why I published his name. But I shouldn’t have,” she added.

Her comments have renewed public interest in the actress’ past relationship with MC Oluomo while highlighting her changing views on maintaining privacy in matters concerning her personal life.
