An Open Letter To PDP Delegates And Edo North Senatorial District Party Leaders A Case For Tony Ohifemi Ezekiel

Best wishes to the highly valued delegates and party stakeholders in Edo North Senatorial District of the Peoples Democratic Party. I hope this letter finds you all in good health.

Please accept my apologies for writing this open letter; I believe it is the only way it will be read by you all.

General elections are the occasions on which we debate and decide the destiny of the nation, and there is no greater investment that we, as a community, and you, as politicians, can make to ensure that only capable and credible hands emerge as your party’s flagbearers.

Dear delegates, your time has come again; you are the most needed members of society right now; politicians rely on you; they shine their torchlight on you, and all eyes are on you. You all are agents of good governance.

I am writing to draw your attention to the upcoming PDP delegates convention for Edo North Senatorial Zone, and the need of presenting to the general electorate the best and most capable hand to turn Edo North’s fortunes around for the greater good of the party and its inhabitants.

We need an individual who is predominantly enterprising and capable of building pro-development consensus among colleagues in the National Assembly in order to constructively engage the Executive. He or she must be able excel at protecting his state’s interests and representing its point of view on the issues of the day.

Edo North need a representative who is a natural leader who thrives on influencing and convincing people; he/she must be traditional and have the ability to be meticulous and well organized, as though working in a structured environment.

Dear PDP Delegates here is a passionate plea for the cause of Mr Tony Ezekiel, who appears to be the best candidate among those who have expressed interest in representing Edo North in the National Assembly.

Tony Ohifemi Ezekiel was born on June 17th, 1958, at Kakuri Hospital in Kaduna. He is an indigene of Eme-Ora in Owan West LGA of Edo State and is happily married to Mrs Adeola Olowu Ezekiel. They have three wonderful children: Emilomo Evette Ezekiel, Emmanuel Ailohi Ezekiel, and Oare Edmund Ezekiel.

Nothing will change unless we start doing things differently. Tony Ezekiel’s key principles include integrity, hard work, positive results, respect, teamwork, and excellence.

Throughout his career, Tony has earned numerous accolades and recognition from the government, commercial, and public institutions in Nigeria and abroad for his dynamic and creative effect in the entrepreneurial field.

A consummate politician as well as a well-known philanthropist. Tony is a firm believer in motivating and affiliative leadership (leading by example), and he is driven to accomplish positive outcomes.

Tony Ezekiel has never been a little fish; as a successful businessman to whom most democratic governments in the state rely for stability and direction, he has left indelible impressions on Edo State’s growth.

This is a cause that I and thousands of Edo North individuals are very passionate about,because of the PDP’s desire to have a positive impact on the masses.

Edo North inhabitants look to your party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to provide the needed succour that the masses have long desired, and only popular, resolute, and committed party members like Tony Ezekiel can pilot the transformation that Nigerians so desperately desire.

Dear PDP delegates, it is important to note that the next representative for Edo North senatorial zone must be able to interact with party members and bridge the gap between party representation and membership.

Tony is diplomatic, a party loyalist, well educated, distilled, experienced, exposed, and well prepared for the job at hand. It is time to rally around his aspirations and make Owan West produce its first senator since the inception of our great State.
