The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has listed two key attribute of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.
In a congratulatory message sent to Obasanjo on the occasion of his 85th birthday on March 6, 2022, Tinubu described him as courageous and bold elder statesman.
The presidential hopeful, in the message by his Media Aide, Tunde Rahman, said Obasanjo had remained strong, agile and committed to the greatness of Nigeria.
Tinubu also appreciated Obasanjo for his patriotism and commitment to the unity of the country.
He explained that although he had on numerous occasions disagreed with Obasanjo on some national issues, the former president had made numerous useful contributions to the country.

Tinubu prayed to God Almighty to grant him good health and ceaseless energy to continue to be of service to the country he loves so dearly.
“Through it all, I have come to respect his love for the country and legendary work ethics.
“President Obasanjo has worked tirelessly for Nigeria, Africa and indeed the black race and has earned his stripes as an important statesman on the world stage.
