Presidential candidate of the labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has been severely criticised on the microblogging platform, Twitter after he made a tweet that was wrong and never factual.

Obi tweeted about the performance of the Falconets in the U-20 women’s world cup to congratulate them but ended up making a false claim in the process.

According to his tweet, the falconets exited the tournament at the semi-final stage losing to the Netherlands.

Obi came under fire from tweeps who saw his tweet as false and misleading to many.

The falconets exited the tournament at the quarter-final stage after losing to the Netherlands.

Before this tweet, Obi has been criticised by some Nigerians for making claims that are false.

Many accused him of always quoting wrong statistics and figures to back his arguments.
