Gunmen Storm Ebonyi APC Chairman’s House, Kill Brother

Gunmen suspected of being political thugs attacked the country home of Stanley Okoro-Emegha, the Ebonyi State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), killing his younger brother.

The incident happened late Monday, and Ebonyi Police Command spokesman Chris Anyanwu confirmed it to Channels Television on Tuesday.

The gun-wielding youths invaded the APC chieftain’s home at Ekoli Edda in the Afikpo South Local Government Area of the state some minutes past ten on Monday.

Anyanwu who did not give details, further disclosed that the command had commenced an investigation to unravel the immediate and remote circumstances that led to such a heinous crime.
