Appointment of Pioneer PG of IPND by Deputy Senate President is Commendable – BOT Chairman, IPND

The BOT Chairman of the IPND has commended The Deputy Senate President for Appointment of Prince Akpojotor Christopher Agaga, who was the Pioneer President General of the Indigenous People of Niger Delta (IPND), as Senior Special Assistant on Community Relations and Local Content Matters to the Deputy Senate President of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Please kindly join me to congratulate him. We wish he will apply the knowledge he has gained from the IPND Bill of Rights Declarations to serving Nigeria well. As we have always said, the implementation of the IPND Bill Bill of Rights Declarations is one antidote to the so many sociopolitical, socioeconomic and sociocultural problems facing Nigeria today, which include the problems of insecurity.

It is long overdue for Nigeria to be restructured to a true Federal State with resource control for the overall interest of all ethnic nationalities and people of Nigeria. The Indigenous People of Niger Delta (IPND) are confident that Prince Akpojotor Christopher Agaga will use the opportunity of his new office to educating members of the National Assembly and the Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of Buhari on the need to restructure Nigeria to a true Federal State.

This has become critically important, at a time that APC popularity is fast diminishing due to its policies that are alien to the Indigenous of Niger Delta. We hope this appointment will provide the opportunity for new engagement and new spirits. No matter how poorly performed President Buhari may have been in his first tenure, it is a fact that he has improved and become fairer in his Appointment in his 2nd term and Appointment of Indigenous People of Niger Delta (IPND) in particular. We are willing and ready to support the Government of Nigeria, if the IPND is consulted.
