Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the Alalubosa residence of the late 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin

The visit, which came fifteen days after the revered monarch’s transition on July 7, 2025, was marked by solemnity and reflection.

According to iReporter Online, Governor Makinde was warmly received by members of the royal family, including Prince Sumbo Olakulehin, Prince Osuolale Olakulehin, Princess Olutosin Olakulehin, and Prince Akinwumi Olakulehin.

During the visit, the governor assured the family of his full support and pledged to personally oversee the burial arrangements to ensure a befitting farewell for the late monarch.
