2023: Tinubu Support Group Makes Inroad Into Lagos

Bola Tinubu Support Organisation (BTSO), a political influence group created by a group of passionate individuals in September 2019, in the United Kingdom, and later in Nigeria, with a mission to promote Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership ideals in Nigeria, has begun making inroads into Lagos to support Tinubu’s presidential ambition if he does declare his intention to run in 2023.

As the country inches towards the 2023 general elections, the group in alignment with the rising political activism across the country has started putting strategies in place to promote their choice personality into becoming Nigeria’s next president.

The group in a close-knit meeting involving their high-powered officers, including; Otunba Ade Adeshina, U.K. Country Director, BTSO, Comrade Abubakar Abdullah National Coordinator, BTSO, Abdulrahman Usman Muawiyya, Director, Planning, Research and strategy, Barrister Risi Sanusi, Lagos coordinator, with other key officers, met with stakeholders, leaders and emerging members of the group in Lagos to strategize on the consolidation of the Lagos chapter, as it obtains in other states of the country.

Otunba Adeshina, who spoke exclusively with DAILY INDEPENDENT, said: “This meeting, which is coming on the heels of the inauguration of our national officers in Abuja, is to strategically position the group for the actualisation of our goal of pushing Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu into contesting and winning the presidential seat in the country’s general elections in 2023.”

Abubakar Abdullahi, who is the National Coordinator, said, “The Lagos state chapter needs to work assiduously to promote the ideals of the group, by working strategically to mobilise Lagosians to be part of this national movement, so that the base of Tinubu will take the lead for others to follow.”
