According to Ireporter Online, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Yilwatda Nentawe, has expressed confidence that Nigerians will once again support the party in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Summit 2026, Nentawe described the forthcoming elections as a referendum on Nigeria’s choice to either advance or regress. He maintained that, contrary to opposition expectations, the reforms implemented by the administration of President Bola Tinubu have strengthened public confidence in the APC rather than eroding it.

Nentawe noted that the summit aims to enhance governance communication under the Renewed Hope Agenda while laying the groundwork for a historic victory in 2027. “We are the party of courage. Under President Tinubu, we have chosen reform over rhetoric and restructuring over repeating past failures,” he said.

He emphasized that Nigerians will prioritize results over noise, adding that the APC-led government has opted for bold economic reforms instead of superficial populist measures.

Highlighting the strategic importance of the 2027 elections, Nentawe said, “2027 will be a referendum on reform, on courage, and on whether Nigeria moves forward or falls back. With effective communication, strategic mobilization, and unity, victory will not be accidental—it will be inevitable.”

The APC chairman urged party leaders and members to maintain unity and work towards common objectives, stating, “When the President speaks, governors must echo. When governors deliver, ambassadors must amplify. When the party decides, members must defend. Unity is strategic power.”
