The meeting, held at the NSA’s office in Abuja, occurred within 24 hours of President Bola Tinubu’s announcement of Oluyede as the interim Chief of Army Staff. Oluyede’s appointment is set to cover the period during which Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, the substantive COAS, is abroad receiving medical care.
