He urged voters not to waste their votes on the opposition party.
Speaking during his campaign tour across Igbobini, Kiribo, Igbotu, and other communities in Ese-Odo Local Government Area, Aiyedatiwa emphasized the PDP’s decline, urging the electorate to support the APC.
“Thank you for your patience and support today. Your unity and love for us and the APC are deeply appreciated, and I promise to reciprocate this after the election,” Aiyedatiwa said. He further highlighted the administration’s efforts in improving infrastructure, including roads, schools, and hospitals, as well as enhancing security across the state.
He called on the people to come out in large numbers on November 16 and vote for the APC. “Use your votes to push out other political parties. As you know, most of the PDP leaders are now with us. We have torn apart the umbrella of the opposition party. In this election, your vote must go to the APC,” Aiyedatiwa remarked.
The governor also commended the loyalty of APC members, attributing the party’s growing strength in Ondo State to their steadfastness. He reiterated his commitment to continue initiating developmental projects if re-elected.
During his speeches at Kiribo and Igbotu, Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude for the community’s support and stressed the importance of continuity in governance to sustain progress. He cautioned against voting for parties without clear plans for the state’s future, urging voters to choose wisely and back the APC to ensure a brighter future for Ondo.
Traditional leaders, including the Anananawe of Bolowo, Judge Ugulapelewei Jemine, praised Aiyedatiwa’s administration for its commitment to development and the inclusion of local talents in political offices. Jemine stated that the governor’s achievements in infrastructure were not surprising given his consistent promises to the people.
Aiyedatiwa also received blessings from His Imperial Majesty, Pere Z.D. Egbunu Esq (JP), Opukutuk III, the Agadagba of Arogbo Kingdom, during his visit to Arogbo Kingdom. High Chief Bibopere Ajube, a respected figure in Ese-Odo LGA, rallied further support for the governor during the campaign tour.
