All Roads Lead to Ijesaland: Adeleke, Federal Ministers to Grace Haastrup’s Historic Coronation
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, along with four of his counterparts from the South-West, is set to grace Ilesa, Ijesaland, for the coronation of His Imperial Majesty, Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III, as the Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland.
The highly anticipated ceremony, scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025, will also attract several federal ministers and top business magnates.
Among the high-profile guests expected are Africa’s wealthiest man and Chairman of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, as well as billionaire entrepreneur, Femi Otedola.
High Chief Lateef Bakare, the Ajirowa of Ijesaland and Vice Chairman of the Coronation Committee, shared an update on preparations, affirming that Ijesaland is fully primed for the momentous occasion.
“We’re ready to welcome the world. We’re doing everything possible to ensure our guests enjoy the finest Ijesa hospitality. We will not let our governor, Nigerians, or the world down. By God’s grace, the coronation will be spectacular,” he stated confidently.
