APC Youth Wing Targets Opposition With Bold Tech Move
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Wing has declared that it will not be intimidated by the Obidient Movement or the youth arm of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general election, according to IReporter Online.
APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel, made this statement in Abuja during the unveiling of the ruling party’s new Data Centre.
He explained that the facility was established to enhance the party’s appeal among Nigerian youths and to serve as a hub for data collection, training, skill development, and empowerment initiatives.
Israel noted that the APC youth wing is growing at an unprecedented pace and is fully prepared for the political battles ahead.
“What we have here is equivalent to some political parties’ national secretariats,” he said, stressing that the youth wing is ready to showcase the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a way that resonates with young Nigerians.
“We are not scared of anybody. We are here to actually intimidate them,” he added, according to IReporter Online.
He further stated that the Data Centre would play a crucial role in mobilising support for the President by connecting young people to government-backed opportunities, such as the student loan scheme, which he said is already helping to reduce educational poverty.
Israel emphasised that many Nigerians have yet to take advantage of such programmes, and the APC youth wing intends to actively promote them through its media platforms, according to IReporter Online.
