APC’s Bulabari Clinches Victory In Khana II Bye-Election, Rivers

According to Ireporter Online, Henrietta Bulabari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the Khana II State House of Assembly Constituency bye-election in Rivers State. Bulabari secured a total of 7,647 votes, surpassing her rivals from other political parties.

The Returning Officer, Prof. Angela Briggs, officially announced Bulabari’s victory, confirming that she met all legal requirements to be duly elected. “Having satisfied the requirements of the law,” Briggs stated, declaring the APC candidate as duly elected.

The officially declared results showed the following votes: APC – 7,647; AA – 46; NNPP – 37; YPP – 23; ZLP – 47. Out of 71,914 registered voters, only 7,834 were accredited to vote. A total of 7,800 votes were deemed valid, while 34 ballots were rejected. Party agents were present throughout the collation and announcement of the results.

Speaking on her victory, Bulabari described the election as “free, fair, smooth, peaceful, and successful.” She pledged to prioritize the welfare of her constituents, promising to implement impactful projects across the constituency. The lawmaker-elect assured residents that her tenure would focus on delivering tangible benefits of democracy and addressing their pressing needs.
