Bimbo Ademoye Cries Out Over Copyright Claim On YouTube Movie Song
According to Ireporter Online, actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has raised concerns over an alleged copyright claim placed on a song from her YouTube film, Where Love Lives, a development that reportedly led to the demonetisation of the movie on the platform.
Ademoye alleged that an individual not associated with the production claimed ownership of the song used in the film and further uploaded the same track to Spotify and other digital streaming platforms, presenting himself as the composer. She maintained that she holds full rights to the song in question.
The film, which was released in December 2025, has continued to gain wide attention online, recording more than 18 million views on YouTube as of the time of reporting.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the filmmaker expressed frustration over the situation and called on the individual to immediately withdraw the copyright claim. She issued a firm ultimatum, warning that failure to resolve the issue promptly could lead to legal consequences.
Ademoye described the incident as an attempt to unlawfully profit from her creative work and appealed to members of the public who may know the individual to urge him to take down the claim without delay.
