Breaking: Dangote Refinery Announces Further Petrol Price Reduction
In a notable development, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery has once again adjusted the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, downward.
According to reports from Naija News, the price has been reduced from ₦865 per litre to ₦835 per litre, reflecting a 3.5% decrease. The price cut comes amid a global decline in crude oil prices, which recently fell from over $70 per barrel to approximately $64 per barrel.…READ MORE…
This marks the second recent reduction by the refinery. Previously, the price had dropped from ₦880 to ₦865 per litre. However, it was observed that many oil marketers did not reflect the lower cost in the retail market, limiting the benefit to consumers.
The Dangote Refinery, with its impressive processing capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, continues to play a transformative role in Nigeria’s downstream oil sector and broader energy economy.
