Breaking: Governor Yusuf Declares Curfew In Responds To Spreading Violence In Kano
The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has imposed a 24-hour curfew in response to the escalating protest against hunger in the country.
Announcing the curfew during a press conference at the Government House on Thursday, the governor stated, “After careful consideration, we have decided to implement a 24-hour curfew to prevent further looting, vandalism, and harm to innocent citizens.”
He instructed all security agencies in the state to enforce the curfew strictly to restore peace.
Naija News reports that similar curfews have also been imposed in Borno State and Yobe State.
