resulted in the arrest of Pastor Dayo Bernard, the suspected leader of the syndicate, along with several accomplices.

Pastor Bernard, who leads the End Time Army Ministry in Bukuru, was apprehended alongside associates Rita Agboeze, Victoria Ugwu, Nanman Puntel, and Peter Ukwuani.

During the operation, five children, aged between two and four years, were rescued. These children had been abducted from various homes in Jos, Plateau State. ACP Adejobi revealed that the main suspect, Pastor Bernard, admitted to abducting and selling 13 children at varying prices. The children have since been reunited with their families, with the assistance of the Plateau State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.

The police have vowed to continue their fight against child trafficking, pledging to ensure that all those involved in such criminal activities face prosecution. ACP Adejobi also reiterated the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to cracking down on criminal enterprises and recovering illegal weapons.
