According to reliable sources, the United States has captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife. The development comes months after the U.S. government increased the reward for information leading to Maduro’s arrest to $50 million, citing his alleged involvement in international drug trafficking.

Maduro and several senior Venezuelan officials were previously indicted by the United States in 2020 during former President Donald Trump’s administration.

Speaking on his Truth Social account, President Trump announced that Maduro and his wife had been apprehended and flown out of Venezuela. He added that the operation was carried out in coordination with U.S. law enforcement and promised further details at a news conference scheduled for 11 A.M. at Mar-a-Lago.

In a related development, U.S. Congressman Riley Moore stated that additional military airstrikes are planned in Nigeria. In a post on his social media account, Moore emphasized that the U.S. actions aim to counter terrorism and protect civilians rather than destabilize the country. He noted that U.S. strikes conducted on Christmas Day in coordination with Nigerian authorities have provided renewed hope for affected communities, particularly Christians facing ongoing violence.
