The FCT Minister congratulates the new appointees and encourages them to work diligently towards repositioning the IBB Golf Club.”

Meanwhile, in a related development, tension gripped parts of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on Saturday after gunshots interrupted a mega rally organized by a political group reportedly loyal to Minister Wike.

According to reports, the rally was organized by a group led by George Turnah, a notable member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa.
The event was ongoing when sporadic gunfire sent panic through the crowd, raising alarm among residents.

Shortly after, calm was restored. Speaking to journalists, the Secretary of the NEW Associates in Bayelsa, Comrade Ebilade Ekerefe, confirmed that the rally would proceed despite the earlier disruption.
