Bwala: Tinubu’s Courage, Discipline, Forgiveness Set Him Apart

According to Ireporter Online, Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has outlined a list of leadership qualities he says set the President apart from both his predecessors and political rivals.

In a statement shared via his official handle on Monday, Bwala likened Tinubu to former United States President Abraham Lincoln, describing him as a decisive leader with an uncommon blend of courage, discipline, and open-mindedness. He highlighted Tinubu’s ability to take bold decisions aimed at reforming systems, his insistence on excellence, and his resilience when committed to doing what is right.

Bwala further noted the President’s willingness to learn and embrace new ideas, his forgiving nature — which Tinubu reportedly attributes to lessons from his late mother’s leadership as a market women’s leader — and his deep faith in empowering others to succeed. He also underscored Tinubu’s selflessness and belief in collaboration across divides as essential tools for effective governance.

He asserted that these traits are rare among Tinubu’s opponents, which, according to him, explains the President’s composure despite political plots aimed at unseating him ahead of the 2027 general elections.
