Cardi B Sparks Romance Rumours With Nigerian Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye

American rapper Cardi B has intensified speculation about her relationship with Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye after describing the Nigerian footballer as “really sweet” and “very kind” following their third reported public outing together.

According to Ireporter Online, the latest sighting involving the pair occurred in Italy on Thursday, September 3, shortly after Okoye’s Udinese side secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Venezia in the Coppa Italia round of 32.

Cardi B had previously spoken positively about the goalkeeper while dining with friends at a waterfront restaurant in Venice. She reportedly described Okoye as someone who appears “strict and stern” on social media but is actually kind and pleasant in person.

“I hope to see more of him,” the rapper reportedly said, further drawing attention to their growing association.

The pair were first spotted together during the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture show at Paris Fashion Week, where they reportedly sat beside each other before later being seen chatting on a balcony during a private event.

Their second reported encounter came days later during the Venice outing, while their latest appearance in Italy has continued to fuel speculation among fans and followers.

Despite the repeated sightings and Cardi B’s complimentary comments, neither the rapper nor Okoye has publicly confirmed that they are romantically involved. Reports also indicate that other people were present during their outings, leaving the nature of their relationship unclear.

Okoye, who was born in Düsseldorf to a Nigerian father and German mother, has attracted attention beyond the football pitch in recent months, including appearances at Paris Fashion Week and the Formula One British Grand Prix.

For now, the repeated public appearances have kept fans guessing, with neither celebrity publicly defining the relationship between them.
