“CeeC Opens Up: How Being Called ‘Arrogant’ Shaped My Brand”

Reality TV star CeeC has opened up about how being labeled as “arrogant” has shaped public perception of her brand. According to Ireporter Online, the former BBNaija contestant revealed during a conversation on the Echo Room podcast that many fans misinterpret her confidence as arrogance.

CeeC noted that living in Nigeria can present challenges, as people often accept negative labels without personally knowing the individual. She explained that this tendency has influenced her public image, with many assuming she is arrogant before ever meeting her in person.

“Usually in Nigeria, a lot of people follow the bad word. Like if somebody says, ‘Oh, this person is bad,’ people don’t even wait to experience you. They just accept it,” she said.

Despite the misperceptions, CeeC emphasized that personal interactions often change people’s views of her. She makes a conscious effort to ensure that anyone who meets her gains a better understanding of her character. “You cannot meet me in person or experience me as a person and go home saying I’m arrogant. You would definitely have a change of mindset,” she added.

While CeeC acknowledged that these labels have been costly to her reputation, she remains committed to reshaping perceptions through direct engagement and personal interaction with fans.
